NOSi receives a visit from the President of the African Development Bank
On Thursday morning, September 8th, we received the visit of the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Mr. Akinwumi Adesina, accompanied by his entourage.
Welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development and Minister of Digital Economy, Olavo Correia, the Secretary of State for Digital Economy, Pedro Lopes, the Secretary of State for Business Development, Adalgisa Vaz and the CEO of NOSi, Carlos Tavares Pina and team, they had the opportunity to see the Data Center and the Technological Park works in its final construction phase.
By the end of the meeting, Akinwumi Adesina expressed how pleased he was with the level of innovation and ambition of the country in the digital domain and considered that these infrastructures are essential for the country's competitiveness, adding that among the Data Centers he has visited, Cabo Verde's is the most highly structured. A matter of great pride for Cabo Verde in its journey to becoming a Digital Nation.
