IFC Vice President for Africa - all projects to accelerate the country’s digital transition
On Thursday, September 29th, at the Data Center facilities in Achada Grande Frente, we received the visit of the Vice-President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Africa, Sérgio Pimenta, and his entourage, for a briefing on the functioning of the Data Center of the State of Cabo Verde and the course of the TechPark project. He was welcomed by the Executive Director of NOSi, Lumumba Barbosa, and team, and by the CEO of TechPark, Carlos Monteiro, and team.
Sergio Pimenta's journey to Cabo Verde intends to explore ways this institution, which is part of the World Bank group, can further its commitment to economic growth, job creation, and opportunities in the archipelago through private sector-led solutions.
