Porto Novo Town Hall, first local authority to sign digitally

Following the commitment undertaken between NOSi and the Municipality of Porto Novo, in April 2022, NOSi's CEO, Carlos Tavares Pina, and team, delivered the qualified certificate of representation to the Mayor of Porto Novo, Aníbal Azevedo Fonseca, and councilmen Irlando Ramos and Maísa Pinto, who will henceforth sign digitally using a certificate issued by NOSiCA.

Through this act, held this friday afternoon, May 26, the Porto Town Hall becomes the first local authority in the country to adopt digital certification.

It is recalled that the NOSiCA (Certification Authority) accreditation in 2022 is a major milestone in the country's digital transformation and transition process, as it ensures and promotes strong, reliable and ubiquitous digital identity.
