Official Launch of Cabo Verde's Mobile Digital Key

The launch of the Cabo Verde Mobile Digital Key (CMDCV) on Monday, July 3rd, in the city of Praia marked a significant step in the country's digital transformation and transition process. NOSi, the entity responsible for the development and implementation of CMDCV, firmly believes that citizens, both within the country and in the diaspora, as well as public and private companies, will now have faster, unrestricted, secure, and transparent access to services.

The CMDCV will be made available on AUTENTIKA - https://portal-autentika.gov.cv/ - a platform by the Government of Cabo Verde for identity and access management. This platform ensures and facilitates secure digital identification between citizens and online service providers, both public and private.

The public launch ceremony was presided over by His Excellency, the Prime Minister of Cabo Verde, Ulisses Correia e Silva. Notable figures delivering speeches at the event included Edna Oliveira, the Minister of State for Modernization and Public Administration, and Carlos Tavares Pina, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NOSi.
