As part of the activities commemorating the World Information Society and Telecommunications Day, NOSi promoted on Friday, May 27, a lecture on "cybersecurity: Care and practical guidelines for a safe and conscious internet browsing" to 5th and 6th grade students of the Quintino Lopes Ribeiro Primary School, in Craveiro Lopes neighborhood, Praia. The lecture was held by specialist Liane Gonçalves from the Security and Compliance Department.

During the event, NOSi's Executive Director, Lumumba Barbosa, who presided the event, donated a few laptops to the school's management, represented by the school's Director, João Andrade, and by the manager, Júlio Fernandes, in an attempt to improve productivity and enable the school' s management to profit from the virtual world in the teaching-learning process.
